Gabourey “Gabby” Sidibe is experiencing the double adventure of becoming a mother to twins.
The “Precious” actress welcomed a baby girl and a baby boy with husband Brandon Frankel in the spring, and the couple posted the news on Instagram along with a photo of their family of four.
“Our children were born in April and have brought so much vitality and excitement into our lives,” they wrote in the caption. “They are so sweet and funny, love to cuddle with us and have developed a beautiful sibling bond with each other. The last two months with them have been heavenly, having so much fun getting to know their personalities and finding silly things we can do to make them laugh. We are so grateful and honored to be their parents.”
The couple, who met on the dating app Raya and married in 2021, also revealed that they have named their twins Cooper and Maya.
“Brandon had always wanted to name our son Cooper so that we could call him Coop. Maya was named right before our honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico,” Sidibe previously told Shutterstock, according to The Shade Room. “Both of my twins have traditional West African middle names based on my family names.”
